Hybrid site using FrontPage, wxlocal.html and php templates

Since I couldn’t do everything I wanted with any one of these approaches, I’ve used all of them to make some subtle changes to my webpage.

  1. I’ve used Carterlake’s php template for the Local Forecast page, instead of the full Point Forecast.
  2. I’ve used a modified version of the same template to insert the NWS icon-forecast on the main page, instead of the Weather-for-You banner.
  3. This allowed me to fix some asymmetry on the main page, which is built using the wxlocal.html files.
  4. All this was assembled using Microsoft Front Page by a “dirt farmer” who is not a web designer!
