I just downloaded the new version 9.46 but the program still says
9.45e even after a reboot?
I also have been noticeing the program starts to go from the system tray to the task bar and won’t go away unless you restart the program anyone else seem to have this problem?

Same here, 9.45e not 9.46 - plus I have 2 WD’s in the task bar, one has caption “WD … Ver 9.4 …” and the other has “W,0.0mph,-3.6…” - pretty strange!

Ted, check for that…
there is a startup manager program you can use

which lets you control all programs that start up with windows

This happened to me too but just once. I forget when it was when it happened, either Sunday or Monday. Perhaps this is what caused a corruption in the first place but I can’t say for sure. I rebooted and/or restarted WD after it happened to clear it up (but I’m not sure if things had gone south at that point or not. I just know that the double WD’s in the task bar went away after restarting the program).
