I know this probably isn’t the proper place to post these questions, but there seems to be quite a bit of 1-wire knowledge out here.
I have recently ordered and rcvd the TAI8540A 1-Wire Humidity Module and the TAI8570 1-Wire Pressure Sensor. The pressure sensor will be located inside, but I am interested in mounting the Humidity Module outside, probably up on the tri-pod where the station is located. I will be building a Pagoda for the sensor, but is there anything that I need to do to protect the housing of the sensor from the elements. There are a couple of holes in the case, which I assume need to be left open for the sensor to work properly.
In addition I am interested in adding the low pass fileter into my network, does anyone that has done this have any pics of what needs to be done. I think I understand the schematics correctly, but want to be sure. I think this might help to get rid of the random spikes in wind speed that I get from time to time.
