Phantom weather email [RESOLVED]
« on: June 24, 2012, 07:59:59 AM »
this is driving me nuts, For a couple of years now I have been sending out a custom daily weather report email at about 9.15am every morning, about a month ago an email started going out at about 9.43pm for no reason, nothing is showing in the times setting for that period, I've even cleared all the send times and one still gets sent at 9.43pm, cant tie this into any specific WD upgrade am running 37.30 at the moment. is there somewhere deep in the bowels of WD system where these times are stored so I can have a look any help appreciated  :dontknow:

Have you checked your Full FTP log to be sure that WD is sending the message and there isn't something else going on?

Just to be clear, I only ask because there are so many things that can effect email and cause strangeness it is always best to use whatever tools we may have available to us to make sure we are looking in the right direction :)

Well that shows that it is from WD and not some issue with the message and your ISP, which is why I suggested checking the FTP log.

I imagine that somewhere in the wdisplay.ini are the times for the mail and there may be an extra entry there however Brian would have to chime in on that possibility.
