Can't even begin to tell you how disappointed I am with the ABS MegaCam 441!

There is no way that I could grab images other than the proprietary ActiveX control & their crappy software. It allows you to post images via FTP/HTTP but does a horrible job doing it!

Picked it up on a sweet deal, but it will be heading back today!

Can someone reccomend a good Wireless Camera that will work well with WD for around $300-$400?

Bob, you could get a couple Quick Cam 9000's for that.  Very Happy

I'm happy with my Axis 207 wireless IP but I imagine that there are cheaper alternatives out there. Looking for a second IP cam as well. If you don't need wireless check out that BL-C140A. Not familiar with it but looks promising.

Also look at the Panasonic BL-C30A (or whatever has replaced it - BL-131A?).  It's wireless with remote tilt/pan, digital zoom (with IE), and can FTP images to your server on a timed basis.  Cost is in the $250-$300 range.

It's an indoor camera and I set mine up in a bedroom window.  If you want to check out it's day/night capabilities, goto:  http://rochesterweather.myserver.org/FrontyardWebcam.html .

Just keep in mind that it's shooting through a window and a storm window - neither of which have been cleaned in a year.
