The big corporates need to get their fingers out and remove FP from their products. I've just been building a system for a customer and getting FP working is a nightmare now. Either we have to install old versions of Chrome/Firefox or apply for a licence to download and use the offline installer for FP.

WD Feature Suggestions / Re: indoor humidity plot
« Last post by BWX on Today at 07:39:35 AM »
Hello, thank you for the reply, at the moment the plot is too far up the graph, i would like to be able to adjust it so that it is much lower down the graph, also the plot is hidden when the solar is set to blocked in so you cannot see it and as the indoor humidity is the same colour as the solar you cannot see where on starts and the other one ends.

Added an image, i hope it helps

Sounds like it's not networked wifi, rather the cams connect wirelessly to the mothership (dvr).

So a wifi extender will not work with my cameras.

That doesn't make any sense. A WiFi signal is a WiFi signal. The camera shouldn't care what WiFi it connects to if it has the name and password.

So a wifi extender will not work with my cameras. I talked to customer service. They recommended extending the antennas from the main unit to outside and higher.

Back to the drawing board and looking for antennas.

Why does it need to be outdoors? In most cases you can put the extender inside on the wall closest to your cameras and that should make for a lot stronger signal for the cameras to pick up.

I need to check the frequency for the cameras to see if a regular wifi extender would work.
