WD Questions / Re: Nest Thermostat - Custom Tags
« Last post by FPGAgeek on Today at 06:40:47 PM »
Ow wow what a brilliant feature, I didn't realize it was in there. Thumbs up  :D

I think it would be great to have custom tags for the Nest Thermostat data. Could this work with multiple Thermostats in an installation?

What does WD do witt the Nest Thermostat enabled but the 'Use for indoor temp/hum data' unchecked?

WD Questions / Re: Nest Thermostat - Custom Tags

there is none currently
but I could add

I am assuming you have it working in WD, where you have your nest thermostat set to be the indoor temp/hum for WD?
if so, then the normal indoor temp/hum have custom tags
or did you want it where you could select the nest thermostat to be an extra temp/hum sensors? (ie not used as indoor temp/hum? ..I could add that option ...then the extra temp 1 temp/hum custom tags could be used)

WD for Linux / Re: consolewd support for extra sensors?
« Last post by Weather Display on Today at 05:29:39 PM »
no. sorry, it does not, at this stage
its a possibility though...but I have never tried 1 wire on linux...you would need to get the drivers working and then you would need to compile those to get the library files and then I would need to link to the .so library files working...would be a lot of work...for what....linux users never donate anything to the hours of work developers do anyway

Hi,

Solved this issue. For some reason the rewrite rule wont kick in when the data is sent from WD, had to add www in the URL's in WD. Works OK from browser.. Anyway, seems to be OK now :D

WD Questions / WD on RPi3: sudo ./GoWdconsole.sh Command not found
« Last post by splobsterman on Today at 03:06:36 PM »
This seems like a rube's error.
Terminal open in consolewdfiles and when I run
Code: [Select]
sudo ./GoWdconsole.shI get a "command not found".

Quote
:~/Downloads/WD/consolewdfiles $ sudo ./GoWdconsole.sh
sudo: ./GoWdconsole.sh: command not found
I suspect I'm missing something seriously basic but can't spot it.
