CWOP data checking continues to improve

These charts compare the reported data from CW2433 with the predicted data for that location. The predicted data comes from the surrounding stations -- some of which are listed below. You can also see how CW2433 compares with the other sites in the CWOP network. This page shows the performance of all the CWOP sites with CW2433 marked specially. The target quality is also shown.

You can now look at the standard deviation for all CWOP sites. Philip Gladstone is doing an absolutely wonderful job helping people check their own site accuracy.

(keep in mind that this uses nearby sites for it's predicting. If you do not have any nearby or have ones nearby which are off then your mileage may vary.)

Thanks for posting this...I was surpised how close I was (with the exception of dew point which I attribute to the poor readings provided by the lacrosse 2315)....

They provide great information.

I was surprised at how good my dew point looked... what I did to make it so close was to go into the Setup... Control Panel... Barometer Adjustments (rain cloud) and use a humidity slope factor of 2.
