I'll try and explain it better. These are the different options for the solar bar when you enter the following numbers into the <options> tag -

0. Solar bar displayed in %
1. Solar bar displayed in % and W/m2 value displayed as text beneath.
2. Solar bar displayed in W/m2
3. Solar bar displayed in W/m2 with % value displayed as text beneath.

Hope that helps. I'll amend the documentation.

Julian

Yes, but what I am seeing is:
0. Solar bar displayed in %
1. Solar bar displayed in % and W/m2 value displayed as text beneath.
3. Solar bar displayed in W/m2
2. Solar bar displayed in W/m2 with % value displayed as text beneath.

If you notice this happening try looking at the clientraw.txt file in another browser window and see if the date/time changes if you refresh the window every few seconds. If it doesn't change it would imply a problem, at some stage, of the FTP upload.

Julian

I tried it in two different browser windows, and locally on my computer, and it still lags right upon loading. i have wd set to update delay upload by 3 seconds and have the refresh rate on the config file at 3. Should i  try to change them. if so what do you recommend, or could it be an ftrp. the log seems fine?

Is that the clientraw.txt you're looking at or WDL?

It is the clientraw.txt, that i am looking at. It appears to be uploading correctly. I notice that when the WDL time gets to 59 seconds it will freeze there for a couple of minutews. At that time the clientraw.txt, is being uploaded?

So just to be clear you're saying that whenever WDL shows the time as being at 59 seconds it no longer updates despite the fact that you can simultaneously have the clientraw.txt file open in another browser window and refresh that successfully with new data?

Which type of browser are you using?

Do any visitors to your site experience the same thing?

Julian,

Yes that is what i am saying. When the clock gets stuck I actually go to the site and check the time of upload for the clientraw.txt. The file upload has advanced , the clock takes a minute or so to catch up. I have viewed it locally on both Internet Explorer, and Firefox. From another computer, the same thing happens. it is intermittent also.

Well I've got no idea  what's going on:( The yellow LED means that WDL is attempting to get new data and I assume that's still happening? It only flashes red when it gets new data. There is nothing in WDL that happens every minute at 59 seconds.

Is there something that happens regularly on your PC at that time, or on the proxy server?

Don't think that's going to help. Does anyone else experience this viewing your site? If not it's got to be a local problem to you which is what my inclination is.

I just watched it for a couple of minutes, I saw it pause for a few (10 or less) seconds a couple of times, but otherwise the displayed seconds incremented by 2 or 3 or 4 continually.

FWIW I just sat and watched the time changing too, and I never noticed any pause and the seconds generally updated by either 2 or 4 seconds most of the time, maybe one 6 second jump...

well my friends, I have been watching this clock a lot longer than you two. Although I saw nothing strange in the ftp log, it was not receiving data at 59 seconds. I changed to the 2nd real time clientraw..., and clicked passive mode and it seems to work. i bet it was one of my bratty kids messy with me. #-o
