Bob,

YOu've been a big help and along with Brian's programming wizardry the WD "standard" pages look much better. I am still inclined to do custom's but I want to understand how this is all done first then I have to find the time. Time is the biggest problem as I have to rob it from my wife and after she is home most of the day and I work, burying myself in a computer is not a real option. I usually take a Sunday afternoon to do this stuff but ACC tourney and the NCAA'a are coming up and you do have to have priorities.

Thanks again for the help,
Dave

Tom,

I'm simply using the WD "default" set up so I can't help too much. I believe you have to set that variable in CUSTOM SCREENS but that's as far as I've gotten. It looks like you're using your own custom's so Bob or someone else will have to help you. I'm taking baby steps so I don't mess it up. Good luck.

I was actually going to use WD's built-in code but it does not work for me so far,  so I can not.  It appears to be a problem with the way that the "No Warning" field for my area is sent by NOAA, as it is different than the "No Advisory" that others apparently receive...  Plus, the code that is posted here has some features that Brian's does not yet have...

Tom,

What zone?

Can you provide the actual difference you are seeing in yours that you believe is messing up the NOAAEvent tag?

Poor Brian has worked on the NOAAEvent back and forth trying to cover everything that NOAA uses... you would think they could standardize...

That would be the same as mine (text wise) and I used your zone file and all appeared nominal...

I think Brian's suggestion may be the tip needed here?

Brian,

It's partially working, I see a beige box, with "-..click here for more" trailing. Click it does go to the proper page I set. It's jsut the title is missing.
Disregard the above Brian, it's working fine, didn't give it time to show up. Now if it was just centered...

10.23e zip out soon, which uses the mylocation for the java scroll
and also the noaa event is now saved in the ini file so its still there when you restart wd (after the next restart of that version)

thanks, I love the way it works otherwise and looks much neater.
