Another rain data question

This is related to my “EVERYTHING gone” query earlier this month.

While I got all settings back, whatever caused that problem also blew away my log files for all of February from the first to the 20th. It also for some bizarre reason decided that the YTD rain total should be reset from the 0.669" that was correct for January to the 7.17" that was the total for all of 2017, on the main screen and the NOAA summary, for February (the January NOAA report is still correct) from the 20th through yesterday. I have enough data to correct the February month-to-date totals and have done so successfully, but I’m unclear as to how and when I can correct the YTD number. It seems like there is more than one way to do it, and I want to be sure I use the right one in the right way.

Thanks!

Hi,

try control panel → offsets and initial rain → temp/baro offsets/rain totals (tab)

set the “yearly rain total” there by entering the value and ticking the inches box, then clicking “set” and then “yes” to save.

Thanks, Martyn, that appears to have worked.
