I am playing with a used, but fully functional R M Young 28600 translator, a very versatile device to read data from individual sensors, do some processing, store data internally, and to generate output strings to anything connected to it’s RS232 port.
I see in the WD station setup that the Young is a station that can interface with WD. However despite some searches here and in general, I cannot find any documentation to indicate what WD expects to have sent out, and if it is a continuous stream or polled in triggering the output.
Does anyone have a link to an explanation of format and sequence of the data out? The device is flexible in output, so I can program just about anything as long as I know what the WD query wants, and the format of those data elements.
