Ian I am just a little puzzled as to the issue you have with needing to use your fathers PC for wxsimate, especially as you need the download for every forecast for maximum accuracy. I am assuming your PCs are relatively close together (at least in the same property). Can they not be networked together in some way? This would allow the s./w to be on your PC and connect to the net to obtain the required data.
