WD inf files
« on: October 08, 2017, 05:05:02 PM »
Hey all,
Recently I finally got my SQL database setup.
I was going to import all my INF into the database.
This maybe normal but when I open an INF file all I see is this

If I open any other non WD inf I see it all in plain readable text
Does anyone if this is normal, Is WD inf encrypted.
This is only in my WD directories, I even tried a file from 5 years ago.
Maybe I have something checked that should not be, I even tried convert a logfile txt >inf
The text file is fine,The inf is just like above

Thanks

its not encrypted
but it is a binary file
instead use the WD logfiles

Thanks, I was trying to import some of data into SQL and got error from some of files on the date and a value with fwi included in it.

Will try and convert them and see what happens.

Thanks
