Mysql tutorial ?
« on: September 08, 2017, 07:33:44 PM »
Hello,
I want to store my weatherdata in a remote database. Where can I find a tutorial for WD ?
I choose a Table name. Do I have to create the table myself with phpMyAdmin ?
Or is it done by WD ?
I configured the tabpage "MYSQL" , but it is not working.
What is missing ?

WD will create the table for you (but you still need to give it  name)
what shows in the separate running wdmysql.exe program?

The wdmysql.exe program refuses to start.
Also tried to lauch  c:/wdisplay/wdmysql.exe .
Nothing happens.

wdmysql.exe should be visible at the right side of your screen where the active symbols are (when opened from the wd folder) and you can open it ...

I think you will find it is running
check for the icon in your system tray (and make sure that is not hidden there)

Yes, that was the problem. wdmysql starts immidiately hidden in the system tray.
If found it there. Did some more configurations. Now I got it working.
Thanks for your help.
