Moved WD to a new computer recently and shortly thereafter started having FTP problems. Haven’t changed any settings. . .
Runs ok for 10, 20 , 40 mins and then shows upload “interrupted” , which can last for a minute or for half an hour. Messages include:
“450 Transfer aborted. Link to file server lost”
and
“150 Opening ASCII mode data connection
Logging off from server”
Any ideas? Sample logfile attached.
often that is due to a time out
and is often related to server problems
it could even be a firewall blocking it or similar
Service provider hasn’t commented, but I’m beginning to think that TeamViewer might be part of the problem.
New machine is meant to run unattended 24/7, but it runs Win 10 Home with no networking or remote access, so TeamViewer seemed a good idea.
Anyone else have experience of this software?
