Just installed the latest full version #56. After installation there is no FTP upload available. Note: During the install received a message that the file “ftpupd.exe” could not be moved. Options to take “Retry, Abort or Ignore”.
Might have a corrupted “ftdupd.exe” file.
Any ideas? Thanks

there has been no change to the ftp version since May
I would suggest that your antivirus has blocked that program
try deleting the ftpupd.exe and the re run the full install
I tried to delete the file but Windows tells me I don’t have permission to delete it.
try a pc reboot
and even try renaming the file
this is something about something on your pc, and not a WD problem per say
It could be your firewall or antivirus program that has decided to quarantine the program or similar
I rebooted in Safe Mode, deleted “ftpupd.exe” and reinstalled version #56. The ftp is now operational.
