Last week I updated to 10.37S55.
Today while checking on the workstation I noticed that WD was not in the notification area where it normally is. At first I thought it wasn’t running, but the FTP Clientraw icon was. I finally realized it was “hidden” in the notification area.
So I checked and it was setup to show up with or without notifications like it has been for some time.
When I changed the setting to notification only and then back to Show Icon and notifications, it popped up the following:
Is there a setting in WD now to turn this on? It has always been available before and a quick search didn’t find anything. In the hidden notifications clicking on the icon works, it just doesn’t show as an unhidden icon.
Note this is on a Win7 Pro box headless (no keyboard, monitor or mouse) I connect to it remotely using RealVNC.
