Brian of home weather station template, were you anywhere near that?

Hello

Yes unfortunately it was horrendous, 10 days ago we had flash floods the city infrastructure was gridlocked , yesterday we had flash floods , hail the size of golf balls , winds recorded up to 148kmh in some parts of the city , many buildings struck by lightning and set on fire , tornadoes were seen on the south eastern side of the city not the normal water sprouts but the damaging ones which took off a few roofs .shopping malls many had the front ripped off the list goes on and on… aircrafts forced to land due to damage from the hail storm.
Some critics question why would fly into a storm that’s just it as it it mainland it really really intensified beyond belief , even the radar build up,does not show an oncoming storm of that intensity but when it hits the mainland the radar shows a massive build up

all in a space of 2 hours We get flash floods every year but not at that intensity. It seemed to really kick off and intensify over land. I recorded 3400 or more lightning strikes in one hour !!! It was ironic I was out I the morning it was some 33c or more with a horrendous dew point 24-25c yet 5 hours later temp was 19c.

This year we have seen record snowfalls , record high temperatures, record one day rainfall , last year the city’s reservoirs were nigh on empty and water supplies were shut down for 2 days a week randomly .this year they are full ! Then throw in the frequent earth tremors it’s never a dull moment here…

you can see the damage to an airplane at the end of this video
