Setting up solar sensor Weather Display

Hi
I’m a newbie to this site! I’ve set up my new Davis VP2 today on my PC. I notice that the only parameter missing on the screen is solar radiation. Any help appreciated with this #-o

Firstly, go to Control Panel > Station Type > Davis > make sure you’ve ticked “I have Solar” or “I have Solar + UV” if you also have a UV sensor.

Now go into Control Panel > Solar Sensor > Max Solar Time of Day/Time Zone/Lat/Long, Fudge Offset > set your latatude & longitude, Time zone from GMT and the Daylight saving tick box at the top. Also turn the “Main Switch” to ON, then click OK to save the settings & close the window.
Check the other pages on this window for other settings you may want to alter, like the solar descriptions.

To show the solar readings on the main screen graph: Control Panel > Graph Setup > Solar/UV/Misc Setup > tick “Plot Solar”.
I use “Plot solar blocked in” and you can use the “Solar Block Colour” from & to buttons to grade the block colour, I go from red to yellow.

just to add, I do have a youtube video showing the above instructions too
