Weather Display not displaying UV Index from VP2 console
« on: June 19, 2017, 01:50:26 PM »
I noticed a while ago that I was getting a UV reading on my VP2 console and Weather Display was showing 0. I've gone through all the setup menus to make sure I didn't forget to turn a switch on, and I've tried restarting the computer. The only thing I have not tried yet is cycling power to the console by removing the batteries and unplugging the power adapter. I'm a little hesitant to do so because the console has not been powered down since I set it up when I bought the station in 2011, and its worked fine. Any thoughts?

it might be something in your settings
if you could .zip and email me your settings files, I will test/check here
one thing
is the switch on under control panel, solar setup
is solar wm/2 showing ok in WD?
is the sun moon rise/set lat/long set correctly in WD?
do you have ticked that you have solar+uv sensor in the davis station type setup?

there is a FAQ on the forum here about how to email me the settings files
if you have WD set to do daily backups
then simply email me the file
databackup62017.zip
from the databackup folder
