A complete computer crash hard and software has obliged me to reconstruct a new PC.
Not to badly orginized I saved part of data on an separate (D:) hd. After fidling around, I managed to recover
all of the WD folder that was on the old C drive. (system drive)
Now on the new PC, HD I have installed latest version of WD.
Question: (answers partly only found on this forum)
In the new WD folder on the C: drive, what are the files that I can, should, have to recopy from recoverd data. ?
What are the file I should NOT restore. ?
What are ALL the file necessary to restore exactly same previous configuration and settings.?
For 2: As said, the reconstruction resulted from a complete computer crash. Some data file for 2017 where definively lost. I succeeded reconstrcting by importing .csv files from VWS that is running on an other PC.
I stilll have a question: Is it possible to convert the xxxxxlg.txt files to xx.inf files.? These had been rescued and it would have been an easier way to reconstruct!!
Thanks for your answer.
