Removing Wind Run from Main Screen
« on: April 28, 2017, 04:50:04 PM »
I had this problem previously and it appeared to be fixed but has returned.

I have a temperature probe in the lake in front of my house. I want to display the lake temperature on the WD main screen.

I can do this by setting the temperature sensor to Soil Temperature.

I do have one problem. As you can see from the screen capture below, the Lake Temperature and the Wind Speed overwrite each other. Previously I could get rid of the Wind Speed on the main screen by going to  Setup > Advanced/Misc Setup > Rain/Wind/Barometer/Distrometer  and selecting Show daily wind run on main screen (Yes, that is correct - clicking on it so it is selected).

However, selecting or not selecting Show Daily Wind Run has no effect.

This is, at most, a minor annoyance so there is no rush to fix this. However, when you get time perhaps you could take a look.

Thanks,

Hugh

Overnight the problem fixed itself.

I didn't change a thing. When I went to bed last night, it was still overwriting. When I looked at it this morning, it was fixed.

The program did not reboot overnight.

I don't understand it at all, but all seems well now.

You're probably right. Gremlins - they're everywhere.
