Oops... WD files flagged by WebRoot AV

Just had a red warning dialog pop up from webroot AV stating multiple WD files were containing a trojan.generic virus. Not so… I had to manually allow them all to not be removed.

Must have been a new signature set from WebRoot that doesn’t like Brian’s compiler

BTW… haven’t updated WD in a while… still running 10.37S-(b21) just fine. Would have been nasty to have Webroot autoremove the bulk of the WD files…

Not only WD Webroot antivirus goes bananas, starts trashing Windows system files

Unfortunately I didn’t catch it and Webroot quarantined a bunch of WD files. WD itself continue to run but a number of my uploads stopped working. I manually flagged the files as safe but the task to restore them from quarantine didn’t work. Fortunately I had a good backup and was able to restore all but two files. For some reason cronawekas and ftpupd. Hopefully I can get it all fixed this weekend.

I would just re download WD and install that (full install)
