For some reason the Twitter upload seems to have stopped working and I can’t get it to restart. I’ve tried resetting and re-authorising but nothing is happening?
try revoking access to the wd twitter program in your actual twitter account
so that then you can re allow it
but also make sure the amount of data sent is not too long
Yep tried all that, no joy.
try deleting the twitter.ini file
and also try shortening the data to be sent
after revoking access to the app on your twitter account then run the wdtwitternew.exe again
and it should then need to be re authorised
OK done all that.
When I launch wdtwitter.exe and click start it says “loading browser URL” then I get an Unhandled Exception error which says " Exception of type “TwitterAPIException” was thrown."
Never mind, just realised that was the old Twitter exe, my bad lol.
Just done a test and it’s still not working although WD has been authorised on Twitter. Looking in the program event log I see this error message:
ERROR: Unable to write to .\twitter.ini System.IniFiles at time/date 17:16:51:632 07/05/2017
try deleting the twitter.ini settings file then maybe
try this update

but also try deleting the .\twitter.ini
and then try a test send from WD , it should then re authorise
and then the new wdtwitternew.exe should work
