Weather Station Raw Data View
« on: April 04, 2017, 07:47:16 PM »
After trying to debug my VP2 anemometer reed switch failure today it became evident that it would be quite nice to have a viewer that shows the raw data as it is being streamed in to WD. This would be of use for debugging and general observations as it will appeal to engineers among us e.g. debugging USB com port issues from the main software application. When I use to have a VP2 USB data logger I had no end of problems with it and I ended up using com port forwarding so that I could interact the data stream, this was a faff though and having a raw data view would of been superb.

HI
you can set
setup
advanced/misc
log the raw data
and then the raw data is logged to a file
rawultimeterdata.txt
and more info appears under view, program event log
