I’m using the weather display software on a station DAVIS PRO 2, after about a week the last restart of the WD, start flashing the alarm button of the data received at the same time shows the alarm icon as noted in the attached image. The data received after about 35000 readings is shown the alarm. I have to set a schedule for resetting the data? in such a case as?
I think that alarm clock icon is just wd busy, could be wrong mind…
Hi,
the alarm clock in the taskbar and and red flashing alarm LED in WD just means that a record has been broken (monthly, yearly or all time) or one of the alarm thresholds has been exceeded.
If you click on the flashing alarm LED a window will open showing what record/threshold has been broken/exceeded.
You will see this often when a new install of WD is started up because there are no stored records.
or mouse over and the hint pop up should show what record was set/broken or what weather warning etc
