After last rain i noticed red sediment in rain gauge. Anyone got any idea what it could be? It is not flower pollen or sahara sand.

Lava from Mount Etna?
Brick dust? - any building work going on near you?
Makes more sense than my idea… although, there is a lot of ash as rubbish from Etna, depends where Marko lives
Slovenia. I saw a NASA image but it showed Etna’s dust going in the wrong direction to reach Marko.
Ah, that too would rule out any lava also 8)
I noticed this sediment before Etna eruptions and also there are no building works in the neighborhood. I am suspecting cement kiln, located 10 km away. They are burning waste and car tires…
algae Haematococcus pluvialis
uauu, great this could be yes!

I remembered reading this article back in 2015:
http://www.natureworldnews.com/articles/18158/20151113/blood-rain-mystery-solved-traveling-microalgae-turned-local-waters-red.htm
That same algae turn snow here red. See it a lot on the mountains flying. Big big patches of red. Ice worms also feed on it.
