I am using the WD/Meteotemplate api integration in Meteotemplate 12
I have the api setup. It works perfectly ONE TIME. Then it never updates until I go back to WD, open up Control Panel/Meteotemplate, and click on Test/Update. The switch is turned on in Control Panel/Meteotemplate. I have the update time set to 1 minute. If I switch back to WD for the updates,it works fine.
as a test try setting the update rate to faster than 1 minute
(as the problem could be with the 1 minute option)
also what weather station type?
also I presume you are clicking on OK to save the settings (i.e are the settings there when you go back in)
also any errors in WD under view, program event log?
I had the same issue. It was a permission issue with one of the crons (Brian may be able to say specifically which one does Meteotemplate) but once I granted the permission the automatic updates worked.
there was a couple of updates to the build 44 so try downloading again
and also then check what shows in the file
senthttpget.txt
and also check for any errors in WD under view program event log
I go to Control Panel → Meteotemplate, click Test/Update. Receive message “success” - webpage updates one time
Check sentcustomhttget.txt, it’s empty
Check View → Program Event Log, it’s empty
I go to Control Panel → Web Files/web page → click Update Now under Custom HTTP Get (Enabled is unchecked as instructed by Jachym), webpage updates one time
Check sentcustomhttget.txt, it says OK two lines in a row
Shot in the dark here but go to your wdisplay folder, find cronhttpget.exe, right click on it. Go to properties, look under attributes and see if the file is being blocked. There will be a tab that says blocked. Unblock it and hit apply. Hope this helps!
yes, if you manually run the cronhttpget.exe
which should be auto running, does MT update
(using the test in the MT setup does not run that program but instead uses WD itself to send the test data)
