Does it make a difference if the ini file extension is caps or not?
Macs are case sensitive
the wdisplay.ini file should be called WDISPLAY.INI
Thanks,
That’s what I thought
I was reviewing the issue i’m having with WD on my test mac running El Cap which I still can’t make heads nor tails of.
My file name extensions are .ini not .INI - I would think this is an issue, but the same files on my production mac work fine
Attached in a screenshot of my production mac (working) wdisplay folder on Yosemite
I bet if you changed it to .INI on your production mac (when WD not running) it will still work and stay
Thanks… always appreciate your quick responses and help
