WMR200 intermittently reports 52ºC - but only at night

Anyone recognise this WMR200 problem (see screen shot)? Both my THGR810 temp/hum sensors intermittently report 52

it might be that the history data gets out of sync
and so I need to put in more reality data checks on the data (i.e to ignore data like that)

Can send the WMR200history.txt file if it’s any use, Brian.

I’ve been searching the forum for similar queries and found this one:

http://discourse.weather-watch.com/p/370297

which, like mine, concerns “extra sensors” (long story, but I don’t use the standard OS temp/hum sensor at all).

Hi, yes, email me that file

OK, it’s in the post!

I do try to keep the console clock error less than a minute from (synchronised) PC time - it’s about 16 secs adrift today - but reception of clock radio signal at console is sporadic. . .

Hi
it seems to happen when there is only 2 instead of 3 sensors coming through
what you can try is setting a lower temp limit
under control panel, offsets initial rain → limits

Thanks, Brian.

So if a sensor signal fails during the day when WD is running it doesn’t matter much, the graph just flatlines until another signal comes in. But if it happens at night the data logger can get things out of sync?

Another argument for running everything 24/7. . .!
