WD stopped sending email reports

Hi
After updating WD to the latest version it stopped to send email reports
I have checked the ftplogfill file and get this error masage:

“Sending 187 bytes of handshake data.
Receiving 33 bytes of handshake data.
error during handshake[2]: 0x80090308
error during handshake[2]: 0x80090308
Failed to connect: error during handshake[2]: 0x80090308
OK
OK
Disconnected.”

After searching on the forum I fond some posts suggesting change the smtp port number to 465 this I have tried still getting the same result :frowning:

I have also tried to use an other smtp provider but still it dont work!
Is there somebody who can help getting my WD mail working again?

that error is normally fixed by changing the port number
if you could email or PM me your email server details then I can do some testing/checking here

Hi Brian

WD mail.PNG

try downloading again, the full install to make sure you have the latest cronweatherreport.exe version
or download that from
http://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/cronweatherreport.exe
as it works with those settings here

Sorry but still the same result :?

I downloaded the latest version of WD and replaced the cronwetherreport.exe file with the one from the link you send
What cal I do ?

it works here with the email settings you sent me
if you could also now .zip and email me your WD settings files (see the FAQ)

I have emailed the backupfile to you

I have fixed it
(it depended on what settings you had set)
use this new version of the cronweatherreport

http://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/cronweatherreport.zip

Hi Brian
Yes now it works  Super thanks for your help.
