I found the problem, and have emailed you about it. Meanwhile, I’ll share what it was with the group:
Look at ths RAOB data. The first one (for Payernne 06610) has more slashes (missing data) than I’ve seen before, and more than WXSIM could handle!

I’ve just made a change so that WXSIM will now make an “educated guess” about what should go there. It’s not perfectly accurate, and may alter the early part of the forecast a bit, but it should avoid the error. To fix this, get these two files:
and use them to replace the ones you already have. Then try a forecast again. This should avoid the error.
