Morning all, but probably directed toward Chris.
Yesterday I noticed a problem with the cookie that holds the sign-in information. I enter user-id, password, select ‘forever’ and do my review of the forum postings. Next time I sign in, the info is gone, and I have to repeat the complete sign in again.
This is common to Edge, Opera, Safari, Google and Firefox.
I’m on Win 10, using AVG.
It does not happen with Wxforum, nor and of the other sites I use for cookie-set-up of sign on info, only Weather-watch.
Famous last words I know, but I’ve done no updates - that I know of - all I’ve done is my sort-of-weekly cache and cookie clean of my browsers- which has worked for years in the past…
Anyone else experiencing this, any ideas, pointers etc?

I’m not seeing it with my account. The only thing I can think of that’s changed recently is the change to https so you should now (probably) be using a https cookie. Do you have some anti-virus/firewall software that’s treating https cookies differently to http? Otherwise I’m as puzzled as you. No-one else has reported the same problem (yet!) so it sounds like it might be something related to your PC or Internet connection.
Thanks Chris… Wondering if it’s my AVG antivirus, tho’ nothing shows in any logs. I’ll try it - signing in etc - on some other systems, Win 7, vista, XP, android etc and see what happens… What strikes me as unusual is that only Weather-Watch is experiencing this…

Solved! Thanks Chris! It was my older bookmark, which was HTTP: … I changed it to HTTPS: and went through a test routine, it worked after browser open / close, after reboot and after a cookie / cache clean…
