Any setup docs for installing WD onto a Linux mint machine
« on: December 12, 2016, 04:19:00 PM »
I wish to install WD onto a Linux machine but the setup/help file for this says to download the executable file WeatherDLinux.zip, but I have read on here fron a long time ago, +10 years, that the executable file is now not needed. That would mean that the help/setup instructions are out of date.

The weatherD exec file is in WD now, and when I run the cmd ./GoWeather.sh, I get an error message saying:
./WeatherD: error while loading shared libraries: libusb-0.1.so.4: cannot open sharedb objects file: No such file or directory.

I have the libusb files installed, so I don't understand why the error.

you should be using the  .tar.g install file to get all the files needed
http://www.weather-display.com/downloadfiles/WeatherDlinux.tar.gz

also it needs to be a 32 bit distro
