I just set my ‘yesterday rain total’ for 0.04. It actually adjusted my ‘year to date total’ to 0.04. I tried twice.

are you sure you entered the value into yesterday rain and not into year rain by mistake?
Interesting. I just tried it again, and it worked perfectly. I must have had a senior moment yesterday, and did it incorrectly twice in a row.
I have corrected the main title to the post, and placed the blame on me.
