I'm Proud Of My Site

Mine is the first website I have ever developed. I started it in mid April, and made every mistake one could possibly make. Today is the first day I actually feel like bragging a bit. To the best of my knowledge, all links are functional, and everything is framed in order to keep people on my site. Pay me a visit, and let me know what you think. I’d love some suggestions if you have any.

A lot of work there Rick, well done =D>

In Chrome/W7 I see several menu items load with almost a full screen of blank space at the top, like:

examples:

http://www.mohawkvalleyweather.com/wxairtraffic.php
http://www.mohawkvalleyweather.com/wxontario.php
http://www.mohawkvalleyweather.com/wxonthisday.php

Ahhh. Thank you! I’ve been viewing strictly in IE. I’ll investigate, and fix. Thanks again!

Use the link in the footer to validate the html on the page … fixing validation errors can fix strange page presentations.

Actually, after a marathon coding session, and the better part of a bottle of red, I fixed a boatload of pages so the white space is gone when viewed in Chrome. I’m so glad it was pointed out to me. I’ve only viewed it with IE. If anyone else has any suggestions, fire away!

I’m sorry about the work, but I can’t feel too bad about the bottle of red  All looking good now :thumbright:

Maybe the bottle of Red is the issue.

In Chrome for me, I’m still seeing pages not rendering correctly.
Hourly forecast.
Us Wind map
Mohawk River Level
Air traffic
Live Lightning
Lake O forecast
Fall Foliage
Weather History

Good luck!

My Chrome, IE, and Firefox are displaying all pages correctly. I’m interested in why yours isn’t working.

I think it may be a horizontal scaling/screen width issue, those pages are OK for me @ 1366 wide, but the blank space problem is there @ 1280 wide or less.

@looney2ns what’s your screen width?

Height and width are both set at 1200px. I’ll accept any adjustments if you believe they will help.

Not my area of expertise I’m afraid :frowning:

1280x800 on a laptop.
