This is pure speculation on my part, however this occurred/started for myself as well around 5 am cdt this morning. This is probably related to Hurricane that passed very near or over FSU last night/early this morning. I speculate they might be having power issues in the vicinity of FSU?
I unchecked mine “SYN” & the program has been working since. I will re-check it back later today or tomorrow.

Hard to read on your .jpg screenshot, but if the url is http://www.met.fsu.edu/rawdata/syn/20160902/2016090218.syn it’s down for me too, and I’m not surprised since FSU is closed with power outages and storm damage http://alerts.fsu.edu/
Yes, stop here again as well. They had it up for awhile around 4 pm cdt here. But not at 7 pm currently.
Just watched the news & they said over 700,000 out of power in that area, so who knows how long…
Yeah, I think they have a few other priorities right now…
