Hi, can any one help me please, I have got a new website up & running, ( http://www.myhomepage.org.uk ) but cannot get it looking right. What I wound like is to have the menu on the left as it is, but the main part of the page starting at the top of the page, so the words “This site at the … etc.” starts under the gizmo, if that is poss.
Create a wrapper DIV element around the menu and the content.
The wrapper would be 100% of the width of the screen.
Inside this wrapper DIV you will have one div element floating on the left (the menu) with a fixed width and then a div next to it that would have the content and fill the rest of the width.
Hi, thanks for the comment Niko, Jachym you lost me after the word create,  what you see so far has taken me about 2 days!, I was thinking along the lines of the carter lake style weather websites, I’m don’t want fly out menus or floating menus etc. it mite easier for me to try & find a template on the net.
Hi, thank you for the comments, as for going back to the future I still in the process of making the FLUX CAPACITOR, I just need a left handed giggling pin & a non magnetic whatchacallit & I’m done. Davis heater, I have some more pictures to put on the site & some info, I will get this done as soon as I can.
