whats that 'to get data for ‘do option’ ?

I have not seen other reports of this problem you are getting so not sure why you are getting it
are you running WD as administrator?
what other programs run at the time this problem occurs?
(i.e they might be interfering with WD)

do you though happen to have WD set to create a animated web cam image (e.g from a http download)
that might be where the problem is

as a test you could try turning that off

Till that last version 37Rb81 no complains about updates, after those it went wrong

are you running WD as administrator?
yes

what other programs run at the time this problem occurs?
(i.e they might be interfering with WD)
System Scheduler
WXsim
Wxsimlite
Wxsim autolearn
Avast AV

Turned it off in wdisplay10.37S Build 59
no difference

Let WD run now and let you know when settings disappear/fails

Thanks so far for reply !

Found a moviemaker_avcodec-54.exe from 20-06-2013 8O and it creates a alldaymovie.wmv
Let it run without create a animated web cam image (e.g from a http download)

see what happens

if no errors will start that again (eusa_pray.gif)

its not very clear what changes you have made etc

Found a moviemaker_avcodec-54.exe and replaced it as moviemaker.exe.
Still running good now after 8 hours.

there has never been a .exe named that before
there are though some dll files like avcodec-54.dll

Oh oke I think I renamed it because of the av codec-54 specially ; Will search the forum here for it.

But it’s still working ! glad to
maybe I can send that moviemaker.exe dated 20-06-2013 to you to investigate ?

only error today was:
error with animated http gif create Failed to create key Animated http file
Above error or program log occured at :05 06 02 09/11/2017

but it runs each hour and no problems so I don’t know what happens at that time

thanks anyway

Its now 19.30h at 19.05h all updates stops and setups disappear. #-o
Set back the reg keys and started again.

No program error log moviemaker.exe runs well
2 days without errors or what.

Is there any wdisplay bug exe file I can use to see what happens ?

I have already posted where I think the problem is
ie try turning off the creation of the animated http download image

yes turned it off just a minute ago

thanks

let you know

I am thinking this will be the cause, and nothing to do with moviemaker

Still running woohoo !

If you have some time to investigate error with animated http download image, should be fine …

thanks !

I could make a change to the way that works and you could test that

I’ll wait for that !
Let you know results then.

I just need to do a school camp help for a few hours then I will let you know

I can wait

try a new .zip update of WD and re enable the animated http download

Still working after 3 days

thanks for your work, now I can join the forum again :o

thanks again, Brian

the problem was with the animated http download , and I had it in a thread, but that was not always playing nice
