Error adding attachment to post - RESOLVED

Not able to add gif file attachment to post, get this error message…

An Error Has Occurred!

Your attachment couldn’t be saved. This might happen because it took too long to upload or the file is bigger than the server will allow.

Please consult your server administrator for more information.

Confirmed, there is a problem with attachments. I’ll notify Chris.

That’s my guess too, but I’m reluctant to mess with that myself :lol:

Update: The error is not caused by a lack of space so we need Chris to fix the problem. In the meantime here are a couple of options:

  • [li]Upload the image to your own website and use the

    tags to show it in the post.[/li]
  • Upload the image to one of many free image hosting sites, like www.tinypic.com (world’s most annoying captcha :roll: ), and then copy the generated “[IMG]” link into the post.

I waved my magic wand. Plenty of space for attachments so that wasn’t the problem.

(its a thankless job, you only ever see complaints when its not working instead of thanks when it is working OK)
