Upgrade 10.37/24 to the current build 270

I think I followed the upgrade steps properly, but when I load build 270 it immediately crashes.

Is there any way I can acquire more information to let you know why?

Thanks,
Larry

Hmmmm
Not seen that error before.
If you back up then delete the .ini setting a files does it run
Also what osx version

Yes that got it to asking me for my language. OSX 10.11.4 only extra thing is OSX Server is running on the box (mac mini server).

Went through the setup on the next load it crashes as well.

Larry

what weather station type?
so you were able to get it running by deleting the ini files
but you say it crashed again on the next start up?

It is a Davis Pro 2 station and yes it crashes once restarted.

Larry

I am still a bit confused
so with deleting the ini files
you can then run it
and you can set up the station type, and get it to receive data, and it works OK
until you then go and exit and restart?

Yes

that is strange
I wonder if its another file/setting
as a test you could back up and delete all the files/folders in
/users/[yourusername/Documents/wdisplay/

Did that, reinstalled options. Couldn’t connect to the port and on second start crashed.

I give up, will just look at the unit for info.

Thanks anyway,
Larry
