This was after I managed to finally get it to update live data from the station. Hope that bug stays away, not good on a crash or remote reboot if the program will not pick up the data.
I waited 15 minutes and had to force the mesomap data downloads to get it to work on schedule.
I have tested here, setting up the meso map
and it creates the mesomap.gif auto without needing to first go to the setup
I never have used the map. I just use the custom tags for my own custom setup on the site.
This is the Downloading of the stations data from weather underground. After the program starts I have to force a manual download or it will never auto down load and update the custom mesomap tags.
Once I force that update it works fine.
Sorry I might have not been clear with that. The other issue with data from the station is not with the mesomap but with the program connection to the Davis weather station. After a restart it will not pull in data and I have to restart it a few times or what seems to work best is to go into the data logger screen and then close it, at that time it will start picking up the data from the Davis station. Could have been a one time issue this morning that may work out. I did find it was not set to run with admin permissions, I just changed that.

Odd that it works this way for my setup.
Did a system restart, it will not populate the mesomap tags (shows just the raw tag on the web page) at all in any way until I go into setup and force an update. I waited for 2 auto update times to pass and it would not auto update.
For the other issue - After a system restart WD picks up the data from the Davis just fine. The issue seems to only happen if you close the program and then open it with in a very short time like 1 minute.
If I wait 5 minutes and then start WD all is fine. So its not a big issue at all.
re your auto meso tag issue
.zip and email me your settings files again and I will investigate
use the latest .zip update to fix an access violation
(occurred if you had set a map size)
That fixed the mesomap tags weather updates.

Weather Underground is having issues today effecting the ability to download the data for the meso tags.
WD will lockup after some time (hours or just minutes) of operation due to this issue, once I turned off the update for the meso tags all is well.
Any way to have it time out and just move on without causing this or do I need to change a setting somewhere?
is WU still having issues, and if so, what WU station ID are you using so I could try and duplicate

It was all of the stations on the list, I just turned it back on to test and now its working.

but that would apply to each one…it. that would add
I would need to pick up on that time out error and not go to the next one
(but hard to test that now,now that WU is back up)
It was out for almost 6 hours, I was slow to catch it.
I have about 33 stations in the list and I did see that timeout for each one when I attempted an manual update, took a long time to move to the next one.
WD froze collecting data from the Davis station for almost 30 minutes during that and then froze to the point I had to force a close from the task manager.
Seems like an over all timeout of the get stations data in the list process might work if it could be done.
When I have internet connection issues its not a problem, so it was something weather underground had going that really confused WD.
I have made a change that might help in the latest .zip update

The new FTP program seems to have an issue with the updates from Weather Underground or Weather Underground changed something on us today that effects the new FTP program.
Here is the statement it shows in the FTP log on a normal scheduled update or a forced update.
151: HTTP protocol error. 301 Moved Permanently.
Replaced the the newest FTP program with the older one (9.35) and it downloads the data from Weather Underground just fine along with the custom tags (mesomap) are getting updated.
I also notice the older FTP program is much faster with the uploads to the site. The new program would hang for some time on the jpg files upload right at the end of each file upload (100%).
wunderground meso map now has to use https instead of http (should do)
which I am then surprised the older version works with the https url
try a new update, vers 8.93, re that particular problem

The newest FTP program (8.93) downloads the data from Weather Underground with no errors in the log.
Issue it has now it will not update the tags. They show up blank or 32F.
Changed back to the old FTP program and all works fine.
Could be they are temporally serving the http side and we will soon loose it for the old program.
