WXSIMATE tried to download SYNOP, and it seemed to take forever…

Just so you know if you also came across something the seemed to stop your scheduled downloads.

Might suggest changing your address to .cdu & it should download the data fine.
I had to move from .fsu to .cdu on one of my short-term wxsim model machines this weekend for the same issue you are articulating.
You are correct…sir. I was going off memory & at my age…this could be considered dangerous.

I am getting the same errors, even with the site suggested. The first pop up days 404 error and the second one says that the FSU is not available. Mine does not seem to be changing to the suggested sight even though I have changed it.
I have unchecked the box until it gets resolved. I am sure that will degrade the forecasts, but I need to get the error fixed.
Any suggestions.

I can copy -n- paste this link http://weather.cod.edu/digatmos/syn/ into my browser and it downloads fine. I cannot add anymore as it works for me.
