wxsim-mae during Seasonal Transition.

Hi Tom,
Just thought it maybe interesting to share how mae has been tracking since the new upgrade.
We are in seasonal change (Autumn Equinox commenced 20/03/16) here in Tassie and the attached graphs display last 30 days and compares against same day 12 months prior.
I’ve done them in F and C (to make it easier).
Note: Tasmania running weirdly warm it’s a never-ending summer in Tasmania, with late-season heat persisting across the state, finally starting to show signs of colder conditions and rain later than usual.

Just wondering if there is a way to capture the actual (%) percent (of wxsim-lite) that wxsim uses in the final forecast, the (%) in correct.txt is the wxsim-lite (%) after analysis , but not actually what’s used in the final
forecast from what I have been led to believe. No biggy just like to monitor it if it where obtainable.
At the bottom of the “Latest.txt” it displays the users chosen (%) :
ie: (63% influence on temperature and dew point from WXSIM-Lite data) which I’m not sure really means anything now - does it.

Latest Update : Suppose it just means that last year was doing well and not able to better it currently.
Current fluctuations in second image below, rain/thunderstorms/hail/wind/snow on high peaks over the next week.

we have that blocking pattern here now…record temperatures here this week…

Yes Brian,
You tend to get our leftovers after a day or so, some more on the way, Sorry about that..

Hi Tom,

Just wondering if you had a chance to look at my first post in this topic, regards capturing actual (%) of wxsim-lite used in final forecast by wxsim.
