regards,
Tony,
I didn’t have any NaNs in the WxSim-Lite 2016-03-31 06z run. However, forecast hour +6 looks very wrong:
+6,-263.8,-264.1,0.0,262.5,100.0,0.1,1.6,-273.1,30950.0,216.0,6.5,20551.07,

Tony,
Fortunately the 12z run looks clean. It doesn’t have any NaNs and I don’t see any strange looking data either.
Steve
For the past 3 model runs…I have been observing strange behavior in the actual text model data from NOAA…both NAM & GFS. Check out the high temperature(s) and relative humidity in the first period of my nearby metar site. The strange data maybe coming from NOAA and not associated with “Bohler Server”…since it would just pass along the bad data…but I really do not know. Just thought I would share this…

Hi Steve,
Sorry late reply, yes all been good since that 06z issue.
tbrasel, not sure what’s going on there matey, hopefully Tom may shed some light on it for you.
regards,
Hi Tim,
Interesting catch there! That’s straight from NOAA, and nothing to do with WXSIM or Bohler or McMahon servers. Weird bug, with highs of 130 degrees F, with mid 60’s for the 3-hourly temps!
Thankfully, WXSIM does not read those max and min temps (though it does read the 3-hourly ones, for advection purposes).
If NOAA doesn’t catch that on their own soon, I’ll report it!
Thanks!
Tom
