Wonder, is Maximum windspeed (Averages\Extremes for the month) and Record high average speed (All Time Records to date) calculated the same way? As you can see if you follow the link i have added, the values for those are different, evne though they are from the same day. I have used the settings 10min average, and also the setting to use 10min for max average.

the av/ext data uses the 1 minute data in the data files
whereas the all time records uses instantenous as it occurs/calculated data
you would need to have set in the menu option under view, all time records, to use 10 minute av windspeed for max av windspeed too
the av/ext only uses the 1 minute average windspeed data…even if you have set to use 10 minute
I could make it where it calculates the preceeding 10 minutes to get an average as an option in the av/ext reports
Would be perfect if you could add that option. 10 min avg is the standard that the MET are using over here.
