Payment

I know a lot of the Linux people are going to howl. I for one would be willing to pay what windows users pay. To get a product that gets the same fast support that windows program does. I would love to use the raspberry. But I don’t think it has the same feature rich features that the windows product does.

Mark

I am not exactly sure what the point is you are trying to make and who you are aiming this at??

You

WD for the Raspberry and Linux.

Mark

well then I am not sure exactly what the problem is?

+1… I fail to see what is the problem.
WD Keep up the awesome work!

Him…

I think what Mark is saying is that he would be willing to pay the full price for a Linux WD that has all the features of the Windows version. I’m not sure that’s technically feasible, especially on the Raspberry Pi.

well hopefully the compiler I use will have linux added,in the future, so it will be like the current Mac version,

Would it also work on the new Pi Zero? I read about it and that thing is absolutely amazing taking into account it costs 5 USD!

If it works on the Pi it should work on Zero.

That’s good news

re the linux version, what exact functionality would you like added?
I have found a way to get more of the astronomical data into the Mac version that I can do the same for the linux version
(e.g civil twilight etc)
