Webcam.jpg uploading to forecasticon.gif after upgrade - SOLVED

I updated from build 78 to the latest version yesterday (R282) and notice that the webcam has stopped uploading. The ftp log looks like its converting the file jpgwebcam.jpg to forecast icon.gif as it uploads but I cannot figure out how to get it to stay as a jpg file. I’ve been through the settings in wdwebcamcapture but still work out how to keep the file name from being altered upon upload…

Anyone?

what shows in the actual ftplogfull.txt file?

Here’s a screen grab of the ftplogfull.txt file.

copy/paste
into the forum

Hi
the best thing is to .zip and email me your settings files (see the FAQ on how to do that)

I found the problem
see the attached screen shot,

select the web cam image file there in the web cam setup

Sorry I’ve tried that before and it doesn’t work as the drop down box is fixed for a gif file search which I’m unable to change to select the jpg from the webcam…

It doesn’t matter, just fill in the file name as jpgwebcam.jpg and hit ok (open) it will accept and register that.

That was part of the problem, the other was that the filename paths didn’t match up. Once that once sorted, its all working once again.
