Now that's HOT!

165F Heat Index in Iran - no, not due to nuclear explosion.

that’s an incredibly high dew point for an arid region
must be related to monsoon

47% RH by my calculation. According to the article the water temp in the gulf is in the 90’s F 8O

And I thought I had it bad… We’ve got weather I’ve never seen before here in central Canada today. It gets hot here, but man the humidity is out of this world.

As I type this, the temperature is 30C (86F) and the relative humidity is 82% That’s a Humidex of 44C (111F) and a dew point of 26C (78.8F)… Can you say ‘steam bath’. I can’t imagine what they’re going through in Iran.

thats a very high dew point too for being so far from the ocean (was the air mass from the gulf of mexico?)
22C dew point is as high as we get here (but that is with a temperature not much higher (i.e lots rain goes with that))

On the other end of the spectrum my humidity was 3% yesterday.
